Jim Cavanaugh, MSNBC Guest, Speculates About Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's Suicide (VIDEO)

WATCH: MSNBC Guest Speculates About Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's Suicide

A guest on MSNBC wondered aloud on Friday about how the suspect in the Boston bombings might kill himself.

Jim Cavanaugh, a former agent for the ATF, spoke to the network's Chris Jansing on Friday about what will happen to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who, despite being the subject of a gigantic manhunt, remained at large as of Friday afternoon.

Cavanaugh was casually gruesome as he ran through what he called Tsarnaev's options:

"He has 3 choices: suicide—he could burn down a house, he could shoot himself, he could blow himself up, he could cut his wrists he could drown himself in a bathtub, that's all suicide. He could do suicide by cop where he charges out the door and he's shot by the police, or he could surrender. So he has one good choice and two bad choices."
