Greg Ball, Piers Morgan Feud Over Tweet On Torture Of Bombing Suspect: 'Stop Being A Jerk!' (VIDEO)

Piers Morgan Asks Greg Ball, Torture Tweeter, To 'Stop Being Such A jerk!'

New York state Sen. Greg Ball (R) got into a fiery exchange with CNN host Piers Morgan on Monday's "Piers Morgan Tonight," over Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The argument started when Morgan read a controversial tweet sent by Ball on Friday about the treatment of 19-year-old Tsarnaev.

So, scum bag #2 in custody. Who wouldn't use torture on this punk to save more lives?

Ball was adamant in his belief that torture should be used on Tsarnaev, even though the suspect is an American citizen. As the exchange continued, Ball and Morgan continued to talk over each other as Morgan kept pressing the lawmaker on the torture of U.S. citizens, while Ball resorted to insulting Morgan.

"Maybe I should have said it in a British accent," Ball.

"Can you stop being such a jerk?" Morgan responded.

The heated interview continued with Morgan accusing Ball of being "macho," and Ball challenging Morgan to an arm-wrestling contest.

Piers Morgan later tweeted about the show:

To which Ball responded:

@piersmorgan it was fun! Lets do it again soon! Smile.

Ball had earlier defended his claim on Fox News, where he faced a less combative appearance.
