'The Voice': The Most Dramatic Steal Yet In The Battle Rounds (VIDEO)

'The Most Epic Steal Ever'

Shakira pitted two of her R&B singers against one another in the Battle Rounds on "The Voice," but Kris Thompson and C. Perkins both blew their coach away, leaving her with a tough decision.

But the decision proved a little easier when the other coaches started gushing over C. Shakira said she was making a strategic move (i.e. banking on another coach stealing C.) when she chose to keep Kris, but no coaches pressed their buttons as C. said goodbye to Shakira and moved down the line of red chairs... until, that is, he got to Usher.

Just before he moved in to hug Usher, the pop superstar pressed his button, leaving C. and everyone else absolutely stunned. "That was the most epic steal I’ve ever seen on the show. Ever," C. said afterward.

Buddy TV said, "OK, that was a cool move. I don't think it's a particularly good steal, but it was a cool move." The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that it wasn't a last-minute spontaneous decision, either. Usher said that he wanted C. to remember "what it's like not to have it." So, it was all a very strange lesson for his newest team member.

Tuesday night marks the final night of the battle rounds as "The Voice" continues on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
