Laura Nekrasoe, Waitress, Swears By DIY Face Masks For Dry Skin

Another Reason To Try A DIY Face Mask

Okay, we admit it. Laura Nekrasoe's ridiculously luminous skin wasn't the first thing that caught our attention while we were out and about in Union Square. Instead, it was her brightly-colored hat (any chick that can pull off a backwards cap is aces in our book). But once we got a closer look at this waitress, we realized that she knows what she's doing in the style and beauty department.

The secret to her flawless complexion? A DIY face mask made out of avocado, honey and sugar. "I have dry skin and this mixture moisturizes really well," Nekrasoe told us. "I mash up a really soft avocado, add honey to make it creamier and then sugar to exfoliate. I rub it in and leave it on for about 10 minutes for the avocado to absorb, then rinse and go."

As for those pin-straight strands, Nekrasoe relies on TRESemme shampoo and her Solia Flat Iron. Once we grow our hair this long, we're totally copying her look!
