Musical Marriage Proposal: Man Stages Broadway Flash Mob In Chicago (VIDEO)

WATCH: Proposal Fulfills One Woman's Greatest Wish

One Chicago woman told her boyfriend that she wished life could be more like a musical, so he popped the question using a little Broadway magic.

Dan, the groom-to-be, proposed to his girlfriend Jodi last weekend with the help of some talented singers, who led Jodi around downtown Chicago as they belted out some of her favorite Broadway hits.

As Jodi waited for Dan at a restaurant, a group of singers and a guitarist gathered around her and sang Hootie and Blowfish's "Hold My Hand." Then, they led her out of the restaurant and onto the streets of Chicago, as other singers joined them and sang songs like "Dancing Queen" and "Defying Gravity." The whole group finally stopped in Millennium Park, where Dan was waiting to pop the question.

After Jodi said "yes," the chorus serenaded them with a rendition of "Seasons of Love."

Watch the entire proposal in the video above, posted on YouTube Tuesday.

Broadway fans will love how an NYPD sergeant proposed to his girlfriend earlier this year -- he popped the question onstage after a performance of "Cinderella." And don't forget the viral "Les Miserables" flash mob that burst out at a Danish wedding in 2012.
