President Obama and Fox News' Ed Henry shared a moment at Tuesday's press conference.

The White House announced on Twitter this morning that Obama would be taking questions from reporters, sending some correspondents rushing to the White House. Obama opened the press conference with a shout-out to Henry.

"I am here to answer questions in honor of Ed Henry as he wraps up his tenure as president of the White House Correspondents’ Association," Obama said. “Ed, because of that, you get the first question. Congratulations."

The Fox News correspondent thanked him and said, “I really appreciate and I’m hoping to go back to business and getting mad at each other in a little bit."

"I’ll never get mad at you,” Obama joked. "You may be mad at me." Henry proceeded to ask questions about Syria and reports about the country's use of chemical weapons, and Benghazi.

Henry has clashed with Obama and White House press secretary Jay Carney in the past. Obama once said in response to a question from Henry, "I didn't know that you were the spokesperson for Mitt Romney."
