EAST VILLAGE -- Police are on the hunt for a suspect who befriended an elderly man on the street, offering to help him run errands before robbing him while walking him home.
At about 1 p.m. on Jan. 29, the suspect approached the 81-year-old victim on East 3rd Street and Avenue B and befriended the man by offering to help him run errands, police said.
