Hero Bus Driver Amar Wahid Saves Passenger After She Stops Breathing On Sydney Bus (VIDEO)

After a passenger on a bus in Australia collapsed and stopped breathing, a quick-thinking bus driver sprung to action, likely saving her life.

According to Australia's 9 News, Amar Wahid, a bus driver in Sydney, rushed to the aid of the female passenger who had stopped breathing, performing CPR on her until paramedics arrived. The bus driver's life-saving actions were captured on security camera.

The woman, who was taken to the hospital, has since recovered.

Though Wahid, an Iraqi refugee who moved to Australia in the late 1990s, insists that he only did what anyone else would've done in that situation, netizens have taken to social media sites like Twitter and Reddit to laud the bus driver's calm heroism:

"[P]rops to that guy he did the right thing," wrote Redditor "zleffler" on Wednesday.
