'Arrested Development' Documentary Gets May 3 Release Date

It's 'Arrested Development' ... The Documentary

The "Arrested Development" documentary is finally seeing the light of day. The documentary about the cult-hit show and its dedicated fans will be released on digital platforms and hit (some) theaters on May 3. FilmBuff, VHX and Tugg, Inc. partnered for the release.

The "Arrested Development" documentary will be available iTunes, XBox and Amazon as well as Comcast, DirecTV and Time Warner Cable on demand.

The "Arrested Development Documentary Project" features interviews with the show's cast, creator, producers and fans. Additionally, the movie explores the relationship between the series and the fans who live and breathe Bluth. Jeff Smith and Neil Lieberman, "Arrested Development" fans, directed the documentary.

“We are, of course, huge fans of ‘Arrested Development’ and made this film for everyone who loves the show as much as we do,"Smith and Lieberman said in a statement. “With FilmBuff releasing the film with such a well-rounded strategy, it makes it so easy for people see the movie in a theater or on a digital platform. We can’t wait to share it with the rest of the fans.”
