Jon Stewart began Wednesday's "Daily Show" with a check in on Guantanamo, which Obama promised to shut down by 2010. In his press conference earlier this week, the president expressed pessimism that the task would ever be done, primarily thanks to Congress.
"Ah, Congress: the legislative stone in America's urethra," Jon sympathized.
Nevertheless, the president's inability to act has left 166 detainees stuck in limbo, at least 100 of which are now on hunger strike, some of them being force-fed to keep them alive. "So we've gone from waterboarding them to foodboarding them?" Jon demanded.
