Knicks, Celtics Playoff Drama Draws Criticism (CARTOON)

CARTOON: Knicks v. Celtics In The Game Of Maturity

The playoffs have seemed to spark up a bit of drama between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics. But while the men may be playing basketball on the court, they appear to have gone beyond the sport, engaging in a battle of maturity.

Knicks coach Mike Woodson said he was not happy with his team for wearing all black before Game 5 on Wednesday night. The team stirred controversy after their decision to mimic "a funeral for Boston," with critics calling the move disrespectful.

After the game, in which the Celtics beat the Knicks forcing a Game 6, Jordan Crawford heckled Carmelo Anthony and a confrontation between the teams ensued. The war of words continued, spreading to social media and even prompting Anthony's wife LaLa to get involved.

In the battle of men versus boys, cartoonist Kevin Eason thinks the Celtics take the title, illustrating the New York team as children in comparison to Boston for their antics.

What do you think? Check out Eason's illustration, share your thoughts in the comments section below, and tune into Game 6 tonight at 7 p.m. EST.
