Lightning Video: Huge Flash Lights Up Florida Wedding (VIDEO)

WATCH: Something Unbelievable Is About To Happen...

One Idaho couple got an "electrifying" start to their marriage last month.

Brian Lehrman and Holly Thornton were about to tie the knot in a destination wedding in Florida when it began pouring rain. But they decided to go ahead with their plans for a beachside ceremony, ABC News reported Thursday. Then, during the ceremony, a giant flash of lightning lit up the sky.

An incredible video of the flash was posted to YouTube last month -- watch it above.

“All of that happened in just one second,” Bruce Thornton, the bride's uncle, told ABC. “My brother, the father of the bride, was out there and said he felt like his legs got singed from the lightning.”

For many couples, it doesn't matter what the weather is like on their wedding day. One New Jersey couple got married in 2012 even though a huge storm knocked out power at their venue, and another couple took amazing photos of a tornado that was the backdrop to their 2012 wedding.
