Reese Witherspoon Compound? Actress Buys Home Next Door (PHOTOS)

Yes Reese, We All Know Who You Are

Yes Reese, we all know who you are.

In addition to being the latest Hollywood actress to let her inner diva get the best of her (in front of an Atlanta police officer's dash cam, no less), she's also the latest celebrity that seems to be amassing a compound for herself in Los Angeles.

The "Mud" actress recently bought a second neighbor's house in the expensive Brentwood area of Los Angeles, which makes her the owner of three properties on one street.

Her most recent purchase, which The Huffington Post confirms went down Dec. 2012 for $3 million, is a one-story ranch property with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a pool. The property's most prominent feature is a beautiful glass-enclosed breakfast room that brings the outside world indoors -- quite the "enchanted cottage," if you ask us (or the official listing).

Still, the home's magical charm may not be enough to save it from the same fate as the second home Witherspoon purchased on that street back in 2009. What she's planning to do with the third home we can only guess, but celebrity homes blogger Real Estalker, who first reported on the purchase, notes that she razed and re-landscaped the 2009 property to expand her backyard. The home that started it all, a 7,000 square-foot mansion, cost her $4.725 million back in 2003.

What we know for sure is that Witherspoon has, in total, spent $11 million over 10 years to acquire 1.32 acres of primo property in Los Angeles. All in all, it's not a bad little compound for her three children and husband Jim Toth. Three parcels of land also makes for a lot of entertaining space, so she can play hostess with the mostest and leave the driving to others.
