Bachelorette Parties: Penis Necklaces, Strip Clubs Are Out (VIDEO)

WATCH: Wearing A Penis Necklace Is 'Just Sad'

If you're tying the knot this summer, you may also be in the throes of planning your bachelorette party. But what if you don't want a to wear a penis necklace and "go wild" during a booze-fueled night out at a strip club?

That's OK, according to columnist Kristi Barlette, who stopped by HuffPost Live Tuesday to discuss the dos and don'ts of bachelorette parties.

In fact, Barlette says that the traditional notion of a bachelorette party -- the "wild" last night as a single woman -- is dead.

"Women get married late in life now, typically. When you were 20, and maybe a generation ago, wearing a penis necklace was one thing. But when you're 30 wearing a penis necklace, it's just sad," she said.
