'Play Misty For Me' House Up For Sale (PHOTOS)

These Views Starred In 'Basic Instinct'

The house in "Play Misty For Me" is up for sale. Starring in Clint Eastwood's 1971 directorial debut, the home boasts a hefty $5.69 million price tag. It may be worth it -- the residence was featured in the opening and closing aerial shots of the film.

Eastwood isn't the only Hollywood big-shot to have used the dwelling in a film. The stunning ocean views were featured in some of the scenes of "Basic Instinct."

If the nostalgic aspect of this home doesn't lure you in, the jaw-dropping views sure will. Set on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific in Carmel, C.A., this property sits on 1.3 acres and includes a three-bedroom main house and a one-bedroom guest house (which has its own freestanding fireplace).

Does the famous history of the house intrigue you?
