Stephen Colbert probably shouldn't have dedicated an entire episode of "The Colbert Report" to the book "The Great Gatsby," considering he's never read the book. And Carey Mulligan, who plays Daisy Buchanan in the new adaptation directed by Baz Luhrrman, really shouldn't have agreed to appear on the show, considering she hasn't read it either -- much less can't read at all.
Luckily, Stephen and Carey get some counsel from LeVar Burton, the former host of "Reading Rainbow," who brings back the show just for Colbert. Check out the clip above to get a much-needed lesson in the importance of reading.
