PHOTOS: Zara Phillips' Style Hasn't Strayed Far From Her Tomboy Roots

Zara Phillips isn't as famous as her first cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry. But as Princess Anne's daughter and Queen Elizabeth II's granddaughter, she's part of the royal family just the same. She spent her childhood celebrating Christmas at Sandringham Estate, cheering on horses at the Cheltenham Races and palling around with Will, Harry and her other noble family members.

She also spent her childhood riding horses. Zara has always been a serious athlete, playing hockey and gymnastics as a child before moving on to riding. She is now a professional equestrian with a sponsorship and an Olympic silver medal to her name, and her fashion sense has mostly stayed true to her tomboy roots. When not in her formal riding gear, Zara loves basic jeans, tees and sunglasses, and favors solid colors for the red carpet.

But she isn't afraid to get a little girly -- her ethereal wedding dress is still one of our favorite royal bridal gowns.

In honor of Zara's birthday (May 15), check out the royal daughter's changing style (and some VERY cute photos of Prince William as a youngster).
