'Elemental' Documentary Features Fight Against Keystone XL, Pollution And Climate Change (VIDEOS)

WATCH: New Documentary Follows Environmental Fights Around The Globe

A new environmental documentary premiering this month targets the serious impacts humans have made on the planet.

"Elemental," co-directed and produced by Gayatri Roshan and Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee, combines narratives from three different environmental fights, including the controversy surrounding the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, efforts to clean up the Ganges river in India and a man's battle against the rapidly warming climate.

In the clip below, an Indian government official faces severe opposition in his attempt to clean up the Ganges, which provides water for an estimated 500 million people.

You can see the film in theaters starting May 17 and on iTunes on May 28. Take a look at the trailer here.

CLARIFICATION: This post has been updated to include the film's separate theatrical and iTunes release dates.
