Shipping tycoon-turned-author Demetri Marchessini has some very interesting views on women.
In his book "Women In Trousers: A Rear View," published in 2003 and re-examined in the Guardian this week, Marchessini lamented women's decisions to wear trousers and shared some "truths" about female bodies.
Here are the six most absurd things he had to say:
- "Everyone has the obligation to look as attractive as possible. It pains me to see women looking terrible."

Let's review: There are no men, at all, who like the way women look in pants, and women should choose their clothes only on the basis of whether men will approve. Glad we cleared that up.
