Get your blankets and snacks ready, Chicago!

The Chicago Park District on Friday unveiled their 2013 Movies in the Park schedule, a lineup featuring dozens upon dozens of movies ranging from current hits to tried-and-true classic films, all screened at a variety of 150 different parks located throughout the city.

The series begins June 13 with "Rise of the Guardians" at Ken-Well Park and continues through September 14 with "Stomp the Yard" at Marquette Park. All screenings begin at dusk (weather permitting) and admission is free.

Since the schedule is a tad overwhelming, we picked out a few of the films we're most looking forward to watching al fresco.

In addition to the movie screenings, the city is hosting a wide range of other free, family-friendly theater, circus, musical and other events in its parks through its Night Out in the Parks initiative.
