Daja Robinson, 14-Year-Old Queens Girl, Killed By Random Gunfire As She Rode Bus

NEW YORK CITY — A 14-year-old girl was shot and killed while riding the bus Saturday night, police said.

Daja Robinson, of South Jamaica, was shot in the head about 9 p.m. on Sutphin Boulevard near Baisley Pond Park.

Police sources for the New York Daily News said that a gunman fired 10 shots at the Q6 bus as it stood at the bus stop. One of the bullets pierced the window, striking Robinson in the head, cops told the News.

She was taken to Jamaica Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police have made no arrests and they said their investigation is ongoing.
