Duck Sitting On Dog Proves Best Friends Are Forever (PHOTOS)

Friendship at its finest.

One duck has found a pal worth holding onto in this helping hound.

Reddit user I2izzo, who took a photo of the dog and duck going on a swim, says the two have been together for at least three years.

"The duck is too fat to fly and has since claimed the dog as his lifelong mate," I2izzo writes. "Wherever the dog goes the duck will always follow."

And while a few Reddit users suggest that the duck is performing a mating ritual, we're letting ourselves think that they're just the bestest of friends.
