'Body Of Proof' Over: ABC Series Not Moving To New Home

'Body Of Proof' Is Officially Dead

It's all over for "Body of Proof."

The Dana Delany series will not move to a new network despite previous reports. A rep for ABC Studios confirmed the news to The Huffington Post.

The series, which stars Delany as medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt, is wrapping up its third seasons on ABC. Its numbers were relatively strong compared to other networks and a few ABC shows.

Delany tweeted her response to the news:

Here's how ABC describes the series finale of "Body of Proof," titled "Daddy Issues":

Tommy goes along with Megan to her father's exhumation, which only yields more mysteries to what she has always been told was his suicide. Megan's mother, Joan, suggests Megan look into her late husband's patient files, which may be connected to his death -- and that of one of his patients, too.

When ABC first canceled "Body of Proof", the network's president, Paul Lee, said, "I would love to see 'Body of Proof' find a good home for itself."

The series finale of "Body of Proof" will air on Tuesday, May 28 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
