Michael Bourn Assists Miguel Cabrera's Home Run (VIDEO)

FAIL: Outfielder Assists Miguel Cabrera's Home Run

Miguel Cabrera hit his 13th home run of the season on Wednesday night and he couldn't have done it without the help of Indians outfielder Michael Bourn.

The Tigers slugger launched a 90-mph fastball from Cleveland's Rich Hill to deep center field in the top of the eighth inning, but it didn't have the distance to make it to the seats. Bourn ran back towards the wall and looked like he was going to make the catch.

Luckily for the first Triple Crown winner since 1967, the ball went off Bourn's glove and bounced right over the fence for a two-run home run.

"It was a lucky home run," Cabrera said after Detroit's 11-7 win, via the Associated Press. "I was surprised. That's never happened to me."
