'Hannibal' Gets Will To Keep A Murderous Secret

Will figured out that Abigail killed Boyle on "Hannibal." When he confronted Dr. Lecter about it, Hannibal confirmed his suspicion, and even admitted that he helped Abigail hide the body. Then, he managed to convince Will to keep Abigail's secret.

“We are Abigail’s fathers now. We have to serve her better than Garrett Jacob Hobbes," Hannibal told Will. "“What we are doing here is the right thing. In time, this will be the only story any of us cares to tell.”

But there was more to the story than even Will knew. Abigal confided to Hannibal something he already knew -- that she was an active participant in her father's killing spree. She would lure the girls in and get their addresses.

Buddy TV called Hannibal's convincing of Will "a big win" for the serial killer. "It created a bond between the two men that the doctor has been craving. Hannibal, Will, and Abigail are bonded together through the secret and the killings of Tobias, Boyles, and Hobbes. Now, Hannibal and Will are Abigail's two fathers. A triumvirate was created of killers and a common secret.”

For now, the future of "Hannibal" beyond this first season remains unknown, though a decision is expected soon. Fans can certainly help the show's case by tuning in for new episodes every Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
