At age 32, Michael Vick believes he's still the fastest quarterback in the NFL.

The NFL's career leading rusher for quarterbacks, joined the "Dan Patrick Show" on Friday and expressed confidence that he could best anyone at his position in a foot race, even insisting he can he still run a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash ("maybe a high 4.4").

"These guys are young and they're fast and they're quick, the thing I do have is a very quick get-off... by burst," Vick said. "I really don’t feel like there’s a quarterback in the league who can beat me in a 40-yard dash. If somebody wants to set something up, I’ll be more than glad to accept the challenge. But as of right now I’m going to say me. But Colin Kaepernick is fast and RGIII is fast as well.”

Eagles running back LeSean McCoy claimed that Vick's "burst" was actually a false start when the two teammates raced each other earlier in May. Vick, who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.33 seconds at the 2001 NFL Combine, called McCoy's claim a "false statement."

Whether or not McCoy actually has video evidence that Vick cheated as he has claimed, football fans would much rather see Vick line up against the other fleet-footed quarterbacks in the NFL than a rematch in Philadelphia. In preparation for those matchups that are unlikely ever to take place, here are highlights and 40-yard dash times (via nflcombineresults.com) for some of the likeliest challengers for the title of "NFL's Fastest Quarterback."
