Rachel Maddow used the final moments of her Wednesday show to plead with the GOP to "disqualify" conspiracy theorist Alex Jones from Republican politics after he argued that the government might have used a "weather weapon" to steer a tornado through Moore, Okla.

Jones and his site Infowars have churned out conspiracy theories claiming that the mass shootings in Aurora, Colo., and Newtown, Conn., were fake and that 9/11 was an inside job. Jones and Infowars also made headlines for calling the Boston Marathon bombings a "False Flag" attack.

Most recently, Jones took to his radio show to argue that the devastating tornado that flattened parts of Okla., and killed more than twenty people was caused by the government and its "weather weapon."

Maddow mocked Jones but took on a serious tone when asking Republican politicians to avoid him and his show. She said, "Do not fundraise on this theater of the absurd by showing yourself to be one with this guy. Really. He says that the tornado was a conspiracy—the tornado. Can we agree that it's over now, Republicans, going on his show? Can we agree? Please?"
