Fran Drescher is such great friends with her ex of 21 years, Peter Marc Jacobson that the two developed a TV Land television series based on it. "The Nanny" star created "Happily Divorced"--a sitcom chronicling the life of a woman whose husband turns out to be gay (Jacobson came out of the closet shortly after the pair split). Offscreen, the pair are buddies and have been known to set each other up with men. Drescher credits their friendship to platonic love and flexibility: "Peter and I have...learned how to reinvent [our] relationship and...friendship into something else that accommodates where [we] are in [our] life now."
Kate Hudson and rocker ex-husband Chris Robinson make the best of their split for their son Ryder. Of her relationship with her ex, Kate says, "I have such a deep love for Chris. Just as it takes work to be in a relationship, so it takes work to not be in a relationship."
White Stripes front-man and model/musician Karen Elson announced their split with a celebration. Going the extra mile to prove their investment in a long-lasting friendship, White and Elson co-hosted an elaborate divorce party celebrating six years of marriage, which produced two kids, Scarlett and Henry. The invitation "to celebrate this anniversary of the making and breaking of the sacred union of marriage" promised to be a "positive swing bang hum dinger."
