Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) joked Wednesday about Michelle Obama's guns -- specifically, the first lady's famous arms.

At the Taj Boston Hotel during a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee fundraiser, Warren expressed her admiration for the first lady, commenting on how she is a "fighter," ABC News reported.

"I love Michelle Obama," Warren said. "She's a real fighter. Just look at those biceps." Her remarks reportedly received applause from the crowd.

Warren appeared along with Obama and her husband, President Barack Obama, at the fundraising event for Rep. Ed Markey (D-Mass.). Markey and Republican Gabriel Gomez are currently vying for now-Secretary of State John Kerry's seat, currently held by interim Sen. William "Mo" Cowan (D-Mass.). Cowan also attended Markey's fundraiser.

The first lady also rubbed elbows with leading names in the fashion industry Wednesday evening while attending a Democratic National Committee fundraiser at fashion designer and philanthropist Tory Burch's home.
