Spoleto, Brazilian Fast Food Chain, Offers Free Meal To Women Who Say They're Beautiful (VIDEO)

WATCH: Fast Food Chain Offers Free Meal To Beautiful Women

On the heels of Dove's massively successful "Real Beauty" campaign -- and a fair share of backlash -- comes another viral campaign that encourages women to admit they are outwardly beautiful.

Spoleto, a Brazilian fast food chain, celebrated International Women's Day by offering a free meal to beautiful women. And what made a woman qualify as "beautiful" in the eyes of the chain? Women simply had to admit when asked that yes, they were beautiful when ordering their meals.

"Self-esteem was rewarded," touts the YouTube video embedded below. According to the brand, there was a 35 percent increase in sales that day, which we suppose is pretty impressive when you're giving away free food. There was no mention of how many women did not say they were beautiful when asked.

"We helped each woman realize that beauty comes from within," the video text continues. That claim seems a bit dubious given that throughout the ad, women are seen looking at themselves in mirrors that appear to be provided by the chain.

Still, we'd like to think that the campaign was well-intentioned, even if it is slightly flawed. What do you think?
