Andrea Thomas, Model, Uses Raw Shea Butter To Define Her Curls

How Raw Shea Butter Can Work Wonders For Your Curls

It was a scorching hot day when we came across Andrea Thomas in Union Square. The model had been running around the city all day on castings, but she still managed to keep her halo of curls frizz-free. Thomas' curly hair secret: raw shea butter.

It's been three years since this fresh-faced beauty started wearing her natural curls, and she relies on hair care products that are packed with the ultra-moisturizing ingredient.

"I think for your hair, you don't have to go to the store and buy all the expensive products," said Thomas. "You can just get some shea butter or any natural oils, even olive oil, and they make your curl pattern come out much more defined."
