'Top Hooker' Premiere: How Many Goldfish Can You Catch With Your Mouth? (VIDEO)

Animal Planet debuted its new reality competition series, "Top Hooker." The show is about finding the best fisherman out there, but we're pretty sure the contestants weren't prepared for the fishing technique they had to use in the premiere.

They had to get into a tank with 15,000 goldfish and catch as many as they could -- with their mouths!

“This challenge is probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever done in fishing," one contestant, Patrick, said.

Another contestant, Greg, did develop a strategy. "I’m thinking like a Striped Bass," he said. Striped Bass have to inhale their fish so I’m gonna go and inhale these small fish.”

In the end, though, neither men won that battle. Melanie came out on top by catching 21 goldfish. Again, this was with her mouth while swimming in a tank filled with them. It certainly takes dedication to become "Top Hooker."

Host Reno Collier emphasized to Fox News the family-friendly nature of the show. "My wife... She loved it. My kids love it," he said. "Obviously, guys, sportsmen, other anglers are going to love it… but the competition is so heated it doesn’t matter if you fish or not."
