Hard core cinephiles, this illustrious video project is for you.
Called "Fitzcardboaraldo," the hilarious three-minute short recreates scenes from Werner Herzog's 1982 movie "Fitzcarraldo," using only -- you guessed it -- cardboard. Produced by film fanatic and puppet designer, Robin Frohardt, the whirlwind of paper crafted images is a spot-on tribute to Herzog's outrageous story of an opera-loving rubber baron.
Watch the video below and let us know your thoughts on Frohardt's cardboard universe in the comments. To compare "Fitzcardboaraldo" to the original, check out clips of "Fitzcarraldo" here.
