Greta Gerwig's 'Higher Profile' Has Brought Her Clothing That Fits

What Greta Gerwig Loves About Getting Famous

Greta Gerwig, star and writer of the recent film "Frances Ha," is appreciative of one specific perk she gets now that she's more of a household name: clothing in her size.

Talking about her rising star with The Cut at the CFDA Awards on Monday night, Gerwig said:

To be honest, it's really exciting, because having a higher profile means someone will actually send something in the right size. They used to only send way smaller sizes. I'd get this little tiny dress, and just look at it and be like, "Oh, I'm so sad." But when you have a little bit of clout, they'll send over a six, which is awesome!

Gerwig has previously spoke to The Huffington Post about how awesome it is to be a woman in 2013. "As a woman, pretty much now is the best time. It's only gotten better in the last 100 years and I feel the more women who are writing and directing and running companies and doing everything, the less it's going to be an object of scorn and fear and judgment," she said in May.

We're so happy the indie star is finally getting the recognition -- and the correctly sized clothing -- she deserves.
