'Teen Wolf' Premiere: There's A Pack Of Alphas In Beacon Hill, And They're Here For Scott (VIDEO)

'Teen Wolf' Premiere: A Pack Of Alphas Is Bad News

It's as if "Teen Wolf" is getting its own set of Originals -- a la "The Vampire Diaries." In the werewolf world, nothing is more dangerous than an alpha, so when Derek revealed to Scott that there was a whole pack of alphas in Beacon Hills, Scott couldn't even fathom how that would be possible.

Normally, there is one alpha and he has a pack. Derek is the alpha of the region right now. But as he explained, these alphas have a leader of their own, Deucalion. He revealed at the end of the episode that they're in Beacon Hills for a reason, and it's not to drive the animals crazy, though that is happening.

They wanted to eliminate Scott, and had a plan to make it happen. "Someone once taught me a very smart way to eliminate threat: get someone else to do it for you," Deucalion said.

His plan is to have Derek kill his own pack, but how will they pull it off? However it plays out, Hollywood Life thinks these new villains should make for a great season.

Season 3 of "Teen Wolf" continues on Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
