LeAnn Rimes Talks New Album Inspired By Her Affair With Eddie Cibrian On 'Chelsea Lately' (VIDEO)

LeeAnn Rimes On New Album Inspired By Affair With Eddie Cibrian

LeeAnn Rimes stopped by "Chelsea Lately" to chat up her new album, "Spitfire," which is available now. While her new musical effort is getting great reviews so far, things remain as chaotic as ever in her personal life. That's apparently a good thing, though, as the new album is all about her relationship with her current beau, Eddie Cibrian.

It does, however, include a song she co-wrote with her ex-husband, Dean Sheremet. When Chelsea Handler asked her if she had to talk to him about putting the track on the album, Rimes was a little vague with her answer.

“No, I mean he knew," she said. But then added, "I think he approves.” Either way, it's certainly too late now.

Rimes also discussed her contentious relationship with Cibrian's ex-wife, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville. She said that they don't speak, but limit their relationship to arguments on Twitter. And of course, that's public, so the celebrity gossip sites are always all over it.

The latest report is that Glanville donated money to the defense fund of two women Rimes is allegedly suing for "cyber harassment" ... so it doesn't seem that things are going that well between the two women. Maybe that relationship will be the inspiration for her next album.
