Amy Adams' Daughter Has A Crush On Henry Cavill's Superman (VIDEO)

Amy Adams' Daughter Has A Crush On Superman

Amy Adams finally got her dream of being loved back by Superman. She plays Lois Lane in "Man of Steel," which is hoping to bring Superman back to box office supremacy. On "Chelsea Lately," Adams admitted to a lifelong love of the Krytponian in the blue tights.

She admitted that her first crush was on Superman -- the one portrayed by Christopher Reeve. As it turns out, her 3-year-old daughter was on the set and apparently it truly is a case of like mother, like daughter. Her daughter had a crush on Superman as well, only this time it was Adams' costar Henry Cavill.

“When she met him, she liked the look of the suit. So, um, when he turned around ... she goosed him,” Adams said.

Cavill took it in stride, and according to Adams said, "Like mother, like daughter.” If only he knew, or maybe he does.

This wasn't even Adams' first attempt to portray Lois Lane. She tried for the role in J.J. Abrams' version of the film, which never happened, and even tried for it in the disappointing "Superman Returns." It looks like the third time's the charm, though, as early buzz for "Man of Steel"has been very positive.

Amy Adams can be seen in "Man of Steel," opening June 14 in theaters nationwide. "Chelsea Lately" airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on E!
