WATCH: Scarborough Reacts To Olbermann's New Job

Joe Scarborough offered his reaction to Keith Olbermann's new job on Thursday.

Olbermann recently signed with Turner to host TBS' postseason baseball coverage beginning in October. It is his first official gig since being fired from Current TV last year. When asked for his reaction to the news, Scarborough told HuffPost Live that he was "excited" to see his former MSNBC colleague in his new role.

"Few people know baseball better than Keith," he said. "I am very excited that Keith Olbermann is going to be talking about baseball because he actually knows something about baseball. In fact, he knows more about baseball than most of us."

The two hosts, who were both at MSNBC before the latter left in 2011, have had a contentious relationship. They clashed on air, and once dueled over Scott Brown, with Scarborough calling Olbermann's comments "reckless" and "sad." Olbermann also mocked Scarborough's reported presidential ambitions in 2012, tweeting that John Edwards "has a better chance of being elected President. THIS year."
