It's been a while since we've seen Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, and he's looking different these days.
The 33-year-old was spotted out with his girlfriend Ari Cooper at the Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers show at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on June 6, and we have to say we almost didn't recognize him.
The last time we heard from Whibley, who divorced Avril Lavigne in 2011, he had to pull out of the band's Canadian tour supporting the band Billy Talent, because the singer had re-injured his back. Whibley's back problems caused the group to pull out of their 2011 dates on Warped Tour and a British tour in early 2012 with doctors warning him at the time he "could be in a wheelchair."
Yes, getting older is no fun at all.
