Peter Bourjos Catch: Angels Outfielder Robs J.J. Hardy Of Home Run (VIDEO)

WATCH: Catch Of The Year?

If J.J. Hardy is at the plate then it apparently does not matter who is in center field for the Angels. Whoever is patrolling center when Hardy comes to bat is going to do something impressive. Almost a year after then-rookie Mike Trout made his iconic catch to rob Hardy of a homer, Peter Bourjos took away what would have been a two-run dinger from the O's shortstop.

With a baserunner on first base in the bottom of the first inning (just like last year) on Tuesday night, Hardy launched an 87-mph fastball to deep center field. With his eyes on the ball the entire time, Bourjos sprinted back toward the warning track. He timed his leap perfectly and collided with the wall just as he reached over it to make the catch.

After he landed, Trout ran over from left field to give his teammate a high five.

Was Bourjos' catch better than Trout's from 2012.
