What does Bill Belichick have up his 3/4 sleeves for Tim Tebow?
The New England Patriots are reportedly set to trot out Tim Tebow during minicamp on Tuesday. The polarizing quarterback certainly won't be competing with Tom Brady for the starting role at Foxborough, but that doesn't mean he'll necessarily be relegated to holding a clipboard on the sideline or hanging out with Ryan Mallet.
Here are a handful of possible uses for Tebow that were quickly shared by members of the NFL media:
1. Tebow will remain a quarterback:
How will the #Patriots use Tim Tebow? He's going to play quarterback. Has never accepted playing another position.

Tebow will be 3rd string QB. First time since he's come into NFL that he will have no pressure but to learn the position without hype.

2. Tebow will transition to tight end.
Tim Tebow will sign with New England, source confirms to me. Plan, I'm told, is Tebow will study a great deal at tight end.

Keep in mind--Tebow won't exclusively study TE. But he's also not just going to study QB.

If the Pats run the trad. Wildcat, Brady's lined up wide. That ain't gonna happen. I think Belichick wants him to be Chris Cooley.

3. Tebow will replace running back Danny Woodhead in the backfield.
I know Tebow maniacs will take offense to this but none intended: Tim Tebow will CRUSH IT in the Danny Woodhead role. A true weapon.
— Rich Eisen (@richeisen) June 10, 2013
For a coach who prides himself on everyone on roster having multiple abilities/roles, it makes little sense that Tebow is signed as just QB.

4. All of the above
Belichick will find creative ways to use him, Gronk is injured, Tebow, if he's active game-day, likely in hybrid role
