Boloco Offers 50 Burrito Reward (Plus $1,000) For Info Leading To Arrest Of Bethesda Burglar

Want to eat a free burrito a week for the next year?

Just help Boloco apprehend the man who broke into its Bethesda shop on May 27. If your tip leads to the arrest of the robber, the burrito restaurant will give you $1,000 and 50 free burritos:

Boloco released the above video to help capture the thief and it's one of the more humorous caught-on-camera robberies we've seen, complete with dramatic music and helpful on-screen commentary.

The video shows someone breaking in at 2:50 a.m. on May 27. He or she appears to crack into the safe, remove drawers of cash and rifle through the register before departing the store, box in-hand, through an open front door at 3:15 a.m.

NBC Washington notes this wasn't Boloco's first break-in:

Another Boloco restaurant, this one in Boston, was robbed last year, and the detective assigned to the case won 2012 Detective of the Year for apprehending the perpetrators.

Boloco requests tips about the robbery be sent to buzz@boloco.com.
