'Franklin & Bash' Stars Hated Getting Spray-Tanned For New Season

Ross Matthews threw out the unofficial rulebook of "Chelsea Lately" during his latest guest-hosting stint. He brought out an extra seat so he could have both "Franklin & Bash" on at the same time. Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar talked about the grueling prep work they had to do for the new season.

They had to get spray tanned. On the show, the characters moved to Malibu, and so the guys had to get their tan on.

“It’s a nightmare. You stand there like just kind of a sad stripper, Meyer said. "There’s just a little G-String on a hanger. You put it on and it’s ridin’ up where it’s supposed to.”

He compared the spraying process to what happens in lockup. And the guys had to undergo the treatment once a week -- at 6 a.m. They admitted they had to work out together as well for the show, but could that have been because the beautiful Heather Locklear is appearing this season on "Franklin & Bash." Looking toned and tanned for the ladies? Or lady, in this case.

The new season of "Franklin & Bash" kicks off Wednesday, June 19th at 10 p.m. ET on TNT. "Chelsea Lately" airs weeknights at 11 p.m. ET on E!
