Lindsay Lohan Leaves Betty Ford, Heads To New Rehab Clinic

Lindsay Lohan Leaves Betty Ford Rehab

Lindsay Lohan has left the Betty Ford Center and is now at a new rehabilitation clinic in Malibu.

Lohan reportedly checked out of Betty Ford Wednesday and checked into Cliffside Malibu, a drug and alcohol rehab center in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. Cliffside Malibu is a luxury facility that overlooks the Pacific Ocean situated on two acres, and boasts a pool, meditation gardens and a professional chef. People magazine also confirmed with sources close to the star that she has left the Rancho Mirage facility.

The move was allegedly approved by the prosecutors, the judge and Lohan's lawyer, all of whom agreed that Betty Ford is better for a 30-day program as opposed to the 90-day sentence she is required to complete. A source tells TMZ it's "doubtful" Adderall is allowed at this center either.

Fox411's Pop Tarts column reports Lohan left Betty Ford because she has endured "several problems" while in lockdown there since entering on May 3.

“I just spoke to Lindsay at Betty Ford. She’s doing great,” she told the New York Daily News on Mother's Day. “She’s clear, she’s happy, she’s healthy... She just needs to breathe and find out who she is again. And she’s going to stay there and do that.”

After she is done with her rehab stint, Lohan is slated to appear at the Venice Film Festival on Aug. 28 for the screening of her upcoming flick "The Canyons," according to E! News. The 26-year-old still has about two more months of treatment to complete, and is expected to finish in early August.
