'Ooh La La': Britney Spears' New Single To Make Its Official Debut

Britney Spears Releases 'Ooh La La'

Britney Spears is back at it with a new single. Called "Ooh La La," the track is a part of the soundtrack to the upcoming animated flick "The Smurfs 2."

While "Ooh La La" leaked last month, the single made its official debut on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Monday morning. The 31-year-old singer joined Seacrest after the song's premiere for an interview.

The catchy track, which Spears described as "straight-up pop," was produced by Cirkut, Dr. Luke, and Ammo and co-written by Katy Perry favorite, Bonnie McKee. "I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans ever," Spears said in a statement when the news of her song for the film broke. "I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they'll think it's Smurftastic!"

Spears took to Twitter on Sunday evening to hype her fans up for the single's official release.

Starring Sofía Vergara, Christina Ricci, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, Mario Lopez, and Neil Patrick Harris, among others, "Smurfs 2" arrives in theaters on July 31.
