Backstreet Boys' 'In A World Like This' Debuts As Boy Band's Lead Single

Backstreet's Back

Backstreet's back with a new single. (All right.)

The prolific boy band has returned with "In A World Like This," the title track off of the group's upcoming album. The catchy pop song features the harmonies of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, A. J. McLean, and Kevin Richardson over a strumming guitar. "In a world like this where people fall apart / In a time like this where nothing comes from the heart / In a world like this, I've got you," the boys croon in the single. Take a listen to "In A World Like This" above.

Last month, BSB stopped by "Good Morning America" to perform "Permanent Stain," another song featured on the band's upcoming album.

"In A World Like This" is the first album from Backstreet Boys since Richardson returned to the group. The band's last two albums, 2007's "Unbreakable" and 2009's "This Is Us," were released without Richardson. Originally formed in 1993, Backstreet Boys will release their eighth studio album with "In A World Like This."

"I'm very proud to say we took to our time to make this 20th anniversary reunion record with Kevin on it," Dorough told HuffPost Entertainment. "I hope [fans are] going to be pleasantly surprised with the sound that we've been able to keep there with our signature harmonies and melodies and great hooks, and once again modernize our sound over the years. It's just a bunch of great pop songs with a lot of great hooks."

"In A World Like This" will hit stores on July 30.
