Meghan and Bill Cashel Design A Year-Round Coastal Retreat, Featured In HGTV Magazine (PHOTOS)

Who needs a beach when you've got the right color palette?

Most of us don't have a vacation home where we can get away from it all. But that doesn't mean your year-long abode can't at least feel like a breezy retreat. In HGTV magazine's July issue, we were inspired by how Meghan and Bill Cashel turned their Massachusetts home into a coastal dream.

The couple and their interior designer Molly Frey definitely stuck with a classic palette -- both inside and out. The bright white trim and light blue door make the exterior super inviting, regardless of the weather. These soft colors flow inside complimenting the beachy-vibe and are accented by the linen curtains in the living room, capiz chandelier in the dining area and the ocean-inspired art in the bedroom.

Everything in the home has an airy feel thanks to this crisp, clean decor. And even if your own abode's not near the water, with the right paint, patterns and patience, this family has proved you can make any home a relaxing getaway.
