There are very few things about airports and long-distance travel that aren't stressful, from security lines and flight delays to mediocre food and baggage claim hooplas. But a handful of U.S. airports are working to take the anxiety out of travel days, allowing travelers to rest, relax and recharge through yoga and meditation facilities.

At least five U.S. airports feature yoga studios or non-denominational meditation rooms -- welcoming both religious and non-religious visitors looking for a quiet space -- as respites of peace and tranquility within the bustle of an international transport center.
