Gov. Rick Snyder is leaving his investment mission to Israel early, and will be in Lansing Thursday morning to help prod the Senate into voting for the Medicaid expansion bill that has not moved in the Senate due to a lack of Republican support.

Another lengthy Senate session ended Wednesday without a vote on HB 4714, which would expand the federal program to some 400,000 individuals in Michigan, as allowed under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
