Today was a dark day at HuffPost Style. No, we're not referring to recent SCOTUS news -- we're talking about what's happening in Qatar, where Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani has ceded his throne, transferring power to his son, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

Why the sudden interest in politics? The Sheik's wife, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser, is one of our favorite global fashionistas. The emir's departure will likely mean we'll see less of her and her opulent wardrobe.

Sheikha Mozah, an alumna of Vanity Fair's famous best-dressed list, is always on our radar despite the relative scarcity of her public appearances. She's well connected and has been spotted palling around with other well-dressed dignitaries like Carla Bruni, Princess Letizia and Queen Elizabeth. She even air-kissed Princess Maxima on one glorious occasion.

Out of respect for her monochromatic ensembles -- and those infamous icicle heels -- we've revisited Sheikha Mozah's most distinguished dresses. Which one will you miss the most?
